What are round aluminium hoops?
Round aluminium hoops can be purchased separately here which is ideal for creating your tunnels to protect your crops.
What are the size of the hoops?
The hoops come in two sizes, small or large.
These lightweight 19mm aluminium hoops come complete with clips for securing the netting or fleece to them. They make the ideal solution for crop protection.
Large - Erected size: 1.52m wide 800mm high (Approx. 5ft x 2ft 7ins).
The minimum cover width is 2.6m add 1.6m to the tunnel length when ordering covers to allow for the height.
Small - Erected size: 1.15m wide 600mm high (Approx. 3ft 9in x 2ft). The minimum cover width is 2.1m add 1.2m to the tunnel length when ordering covers to allow for the height.
What is included with the hoops?
All hoops come with clips for securing the fabric. As a guide, the hoops should be spaced at approx. 1m intervals. Each hoop comes with 3 clips.

Set them up to 1.2m wide and about 600mm high, spaced 750mm to 1m apart. A minimum fabric width of 1.8m is needed for tunnels or cloches.
