What are Slug Nematodes used for?

Slugs are one of gardeners' worst nightmares. They are impossible to get rid of once and for all. These slug nematodes effectively combat slugs and are completely safe for children, wildlife and pets. They are easy to apply and leave no unsightly residues.

Slug nematodes are microscopic transparent worms which feed and multiply inside the slug. They are not visible with a hand lens. Simply dilute with water and water on.

How does Nemaslug work?

Nematodes enter pests through small entry points and release bacteria that safely eliminate them. They then reproduce inside the pest, releasing new nematodes to continue the cycle. The majority of the slugs will die underground so you won't see dead slugs lying around.

Nemaslug Slug Killer is a perishable, living product. Use it before the expiry date (2-3 weeks) and store it in the fridge until needed.

How long will Nemaslug take to work?

When treated with Nemasslugs, slugs will stop feeding in 3 days and die within a week. Remember the majority of slugs will die underground, when they start to decompose a new generation of nematodes emerges. Nematodes are capable of surviving the occasional frost so so don't worry if the temperature falls after you have applied the nematodes.

When should I apply Nemaslug?
