Protect tender plants through the colder months with these strong 70g horticultural fleece covers. Designed to provide insulation against frost, cold winds and hail, they can help protect plants in temperatures down to around -7 to -8°C. Each cover includes a built-in drawstring, making it quick to fit securely around plants and pots.
Available in beige or white, these reusable fleece jackets are ideal for tropical plants, shrubs, small trees and other frost-sensitive plants that need extra protection during winter.
These fleece plant covers provide a simple way to protect vulnerable plants from harsh winter weather. The 70g horticultural fleece forms an insulating barrier against frost, wind and hail while remaining breathable, so air and moisture can still reach the plant.
They are particularly useful for tender, exotic and tropical plants that may struggle with colder UK temperatures.
Each fleece bag has a built-in drawstring at the base for quick fitting and removal. Simply place the cover over the plant, pull the cord tight and secure it around the base of the plant or pot.
The covers can also be turned upside down and used to provide additional protection for hanging baskets.
Choose from three sizes depending on the plant you need to protect:
All sizes are available in either beige or white.
The horticultural fleece blocks approximately 25% of sunlight while still allowing air and moisture to pass through. This helps provide an insulated environment around the plant during cold conditions.
During warmer or particularly sunny weather, the covers should be removed to help prevent plants from becoming too warm. This makes them ideal for seasonal protection that can be added or removed as the weather changes.

These fleece plant jackets are designed for repeated use throughout the winter season. When they become dirty, they can be washed in warm soapy water, dried thoroughly and stored until they are needed again.
